Managing partner of the law firm, Whiting, Fallon, Ross & Abel, LLP, Andy Ross is a Certified Family Law Specialist, certified by The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. He has acted as Judge Pro Tem for the Santa Clara County Municipal Court 1980-1984; and for the Contra Costa County Superior Court 1997-2009.

Among Mr. Ross' accomplishments is his inclusion in Northern California Super Lawyers® – an achievement he's attained every year since its 2004 inception. He was also designated as one of the top 100 attorneys in Northern California by Super Lawyers® in 2008 and 2009. In addition, he was proudly selected by his peers for inclusion in the 2010 and 2011 editions of “The Best Lawyers in America” in the specialty of Family Law. (In 2010, Best Lawyers partnered with U.S. News & World Report, the leading U.S. rankings publication to rank U.S. Law firms.)

Born in Brooklyn, New York, Mr. Ross is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. This highly regarded group of family law attorneys is recognized by both judges and attorneys as preeminent family law practitioners, who exhibit a high level of knowledge, skill and integrity. Academy Fellows enjoy a reputation of professionalism, competence and integrity. Only 60 Northern California family lawyers have met the stringent admission requirements of the national organization required to become fellows of the Northern California chapter.
